| Expect your new tattoo to be tender for the next few days. It will then develop a light protective crust that will gradually flake off. During this period, your tattoo may look dull. This is just a part of the natural healing process. Around the tenth day, your tattoo should look basically healed, but is still waxy or shiny on the surface. This look may be present for up to two months. |
